SAMNAUN GORGE

Details

Coming from Samnaun, the Schalklbach (or Schergenbach) stream, usually carrying a lot of water, winds its way through the narrow gorge.

The Adventure Park tour is impressive, featuring vertical rock faces above rushing water. We climb through the gorge in via ferrata style. After several stream crossings and conquering the "Stairway to Heaven," we exit the gorge. The highlight of this tour is the 35-meter abseil from a bridge (optional).

Itinerary
- Preparation:
Arrive at our base in Pfunds at your booked time, where you will receive your equipment and a safety briefing from your guide. Afterwards, you will practice on the training course before starting. If you are arriving by car, there is free parking at the base and at the Hotel Traube. We will then take our own bus for a 5-minute ride to the starting point.
- Tour:
In our unique gorge, we will learn the proper use of ropes and carabiners in a fun and engaging way. At the end, the guide will rappel you down from a 35-meter-high bridge (optional). After this exciting tour, we'll return to base by bus. If you need refreshments after this adventure, you can stop at the Hotel Traube (with a beer garden) directly opposite.
